Seems Team Trump is doubling down on its candidate's multi-slams against New Mexico's governor - who happens to be REPUBLICAN.  But that isn't stopping Donald Trump & his advisors from blasting Susana Martinez for a lousy job, going so far as to say "Maybe I'll run for governor of New Mexico.  I'll get this place going."

His campaign manager. Corey Lewandowski, embraced his candidate's bombast criticism of the popular governor, telling Chris Wallace, "We absolutely stand by our statement that the state of New Mexico could be doing better.”

When asked if such a blindsiding take down of a REPUBLICAN governor could cause problems with voters, Lewandowski replied,  “Donald Trump is winning with Latinos, if you look at the last poll, he’s winning with Hispanics, if you look at the polls, he’s doing very well with women.

My best guess is that what Paul meant when he answered the question from Chris was, "We don't care about polls focused on women & Latinos.  Not our base, not the electorate we target for outreach.  President Donald Trump's comments about Gov. Martinez worked very well with them.  A dip with women & Latinos often means a bump with the numbers that matter.:
